As part of their Secondary Two Language Arts Programme, these students were brought on a field trip to capture the use of persuasive and imperative language used in advertorials. These pictures will portray what the field trip which took place last year looks like.

Drama, drama, drama...
The Secondary Two Lower Arts Programme consists a variety of project works, of which one of them is a dramatic re-presentation of a literary prose. Here are some pictures that will depict the training and hard work involved in creating the "show". Enjoy! :)

Presentations
We all know that "It takes one hour of preparation for each minute of presentation time." However tedious a presentation may be, it is important that our students learn the skills of public speaking/presentation as this skill will come in handy when they pursue a higher education. Therefore, the English Department has incorporated presentations into our lessons, whereby students will work towards designing a presentation and thereafter, delivering the presentation.

Books Updates
Dr. Seuss is quoted saying “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you'll go.” in one of his books. In our effort to encourage students to read and to keep up-to-date with the latest books published, the English Department has organised an annual book display for students and teachers. At this book display, students and teachers may view books they would like to buy at a discounted price.
